New Watercolor techniques

I was in Los Angeles for a couple of weeks and decided to do some practice in watercolors. Funny thing is that i have been working on watercolors for about 16 years now. I bought a friend a little beginner's watercolor set. Nothing spectacular and it came with a little instructional booklet and I found that there was a couple of techniques that i didn't know. And they were damn good too. So they were being used here.
